 Edinburgh Castle is a historic fortress overlooking the skyline of Scotland's capital, Edinburgh, from the location of Castle Rock.  Holy Roodhouse Palace and Holy Rood Abbey:

 The Holy Roodhouse Palace, commonly simply referred to as Holyrood Palace, is the Queen's official residence in Edinburgh and is often at the center of Scottish history.

 Royal mile

 The Royal Mile connects Edinburgh Castle and Holy rood Palace. Lined with charming townhouses, churches and historic landmarks, this stunning street is a great base for exploring shops (including kilt makers), hotels, museums, cafes and restaurants.  Climb up to Arthur's Place and Salisbury Rocks.

 At 820 feet, Arthur's Seat is the highest point in the 640-acre Holyrood Park. Breathtaking views from the top cover the entire city up to the entrance to the fortress.

Royal yacht Britain

The Royal Yacht Britannia is one of Britain's most popular attractions associated with the monarchy. Over the years, the Queen has hosted heads of state and celebrities from around the world on these luxurious ships. Scottish National Museum

 Edinburgh's Royal Botanic Gardens is a premier center for botanical research, horticulture, education and habitat conservation. The Royal Botanic Gardens of Edinburgh is  just one mile from the city center. Princess Street and Gardens

 The bustling Princess Street is New City's main street. It is surrounded by colorful gardens and elegant shops, including Edinburgh's traditional Jenner, founded in 1838 and one of the world's oldest department stores.
